ah Paulette. I hadn’t been to the Hayes Valley location in a while but decided it was about time:
From left to right clockwise:
Violet Cassius (my favorite)
Passionfruit
Earl Grey Tea
Raspberry
Paulette’s never disappoints and the fruity flavors are reminiscent of Christopher David-fresh and perfectly complementary to the sugary outside macaron.
I also had a chance to make some macarons for my tutoree:
I filled these with a salted caramel filling. One step closer to macaron perfection and I got rave reviews from my audience..
2011 is looking promising indeed.
