Pistachio and Raspberry macarons at La Boulange on Polk Street,  SF.  Both were light and airy.  The pistachio was filled with a cream reminiscent of marizpan and the raspberry was filled with a raspberry jelly.

As far as macarons go, these are not the best I’ve tasted.   They weren’t as chewy and lacked the freshness that other macaron makers create.  More macaron reviews to come..

In other news,  two weeks till my macaron class!  I cannot wait to finally get one of these done RIGHT!
